Young Shepherd Competition
Scotland swept the boards at the NSA Young Shepherd of the Year contest held at the 2012 Sheep Event at Malvern.
In first place was Simon Turkington from Wick, with Kevin O’Connor from Skye in the runner-up spot. Kevin currently works at Sandilands, Lanark.
The pair took the same placings in the European Young Shepherd Championships and were first placed team

Simon, along with Kevin O'Conner the individual runner-up, won the team championship
